Network cabling

We provide a full data cabling service including CAT 6, CAT5E and voice and data integration.

Fibre Installation

Fibre optic cabling, splicing, terminating and testing, single mode or multimode. Fibre backbones or to the desk depending on your requirements. All fibre installed is tested to the relevant industry standards.

Voice

Installation of all types of voice cabling, presented to either patch panels or DP’s depending on requirements, enabling integration to structured cabling systems.

Laser Links

Far from being a technology of the future, Free Space Optics (FSO) solutions utilising laser technology are providing a cost effective way of linking networks whilst maintaining wire speed connections of up to 2.5Gbps.

FSO solutions offer a wireless point to point link between 2 sites and are often used where it is difficult or expensive to lay down fibre cables. They have the benefit of being license-free, offering high bandwidth and being immune to interference as well as being incredibly secure.

Working closely with the world's leading vendors of FSO solutions including Laserbit and Lightpointe, R&A can assist customers in selecting the system that matches their needs. Our specialist engineering team can provide a range of professional installation services that include the installation and commissioning of the laser units as well as the installation of any necessary network cabling.
